Regulation Activities
We spend most of our lives in a reactive state, to both the environment and the people around us. Regulation activities are an effective and practical tool to support bringing a person back within their body and in the present moment with clarity.
The activities can be completed independently or alongside an adult/peer in less than 5 minutes anywhere, anytime. The activities can be added to daily routines, taught explicitly as a self-regulation tool or added as a guided and visual prompt for the house, as well as adapted for different age groups and areas of interest.
