Self-Regulation Movement Exercises

Movement is one of the quickest ways a person can change state. Therefore, allowing our children/students to incorporate movement when feeling they are building up to dysregulation or are dysregulated is a game-changer! The exercises do not require equipment and can be completed independently in less than 5 minutes anywhere, anytime. The exercises can be added to daily routines, taught explicitly as a self-regulation tool or added as a guided prompt for the calm corner, as well as adapted for different age groups and areas of interest.
