Fidget Tool - Student Contract
The inclusion of effective fidget tools in the classroom can support increasing student focus, attention and regulation. To ensure the fidget is used effectively as a support ‘tool’ for learning and not a toy, a student contract is beneficial.
The student contract has been created to be used in partnership with the teacher and the student. The contract helps guide the discussion with the student regarding correct use by outlining when the fidget tool can be used, why the fidget tool is used and provides a space for signatures to formalise the agreement.
The contract can be personalised and adapted to different age groups and levels of need.
